Dressing Up On Holiday: Edinburgh 2

First off I must apologise for being so lax with my posting! Holiday seems to have stolen me completely for the week. Still, I'm back in Paris now and am going to inundate you with pictures of me dressed up. Huzzah.

For day number two in the glorious city of Edinburgh, delightful boyfriend and I headed off to wander around the National Portrait Gallery before going to find lunch at the famous Italian deli "Valvona + Crolla", which was lovely. If you do find yourself in Edinburgh at any point, do head to Elm Row and check this place out - it stocks all manner of culinary treats and the restaurant at the back of the deli is charming, lovely atmosphere and great food.

Delightful Boyfriend. Who has no idea I'm putting this picture on here, but oh well!
I thought he looked too nice not to be seen.
And no, we did not intentionally dress to match each other. Sigh...

For some reason, post-lunch I allowed myself to be convinced into going to the Edinburgh Dungeons... For those of you who don't know me, I have the psychological and emotional disposition of a traumatised 6-year old and scary things do not agree with me one bit. Although the actual children in our midst seemed to take the gruesome tales of  the murderers Burke and Hare, and the canibalistic Sawney Bean family wholly in their stride, I was certainly glad to be back out in the light by the end of it!

That said, it was great fun overall, a little extra adrenaline never did anyone any harm... Also I had my lovely feathery collar to hide my face in when it all got a little too much!
